{Sia: Josh Grayson}

{Synopsis} –When seventeen-year-old Sia wakes up on a park bench, she has no idea who or where she is. Yet after a week of being homeless, she’s reunited with her family. At school, she’s powerful and popular. At home, she’s wealthy beyond her dreams. But she quickly realizes her perfect life is a lie. Her family is falling apart and her friends are snobby, cruel and plastic. Worse yet, she discovers she was the cruelest one. Mortified by her past, she embarks on a journey of redemption and falls for Kyle, the “geek” she once tormented. Yet all the time she wonders if, when her memories return, she’ll become the bully she was before…and if she’ll lose Kyle.

{My Thoughts} – This books is about a young girl named Sia Halloway. She is everything every teenager wants to be. She’s popular, she’s the queen bee of the school, she is dating the hottest guy on the football team and she comes from money. Everyone sees her life as perfect. One day she wakes up and her life is no longer perfect anymore, in fact she can’t remember anything. She has lost all of her memories.

This book is about making choices, becoming the person you are suppose to be and not being the person others assume you should be. I think this is a really good book for High Schoolers to read, it helps to show that change is alright, that you don’t always need to follow the crowd. It also shows that unpopular kids can associate with popular kids without a huge battle in between.

I really enjoyed this book and would be delighted to read more written by Sir Grayson. He is a wonderful author and this book for me says it all. He has good ideas and he writes them out in such a well thought out means that it is difficult not to fall in love with the story within the pages.

Final Conclusion: 5 Star Rating.
