There&#8217;s a gang of jokers roaming the halls, a muscle-headed kid named Bane wants to beat you up, and your guidance counselor Hugo Strange seems really, well, strange.<\/p>\n<p>This inventive novel follows young Bruce Wayne and his friends Clark (Superman) and Diana (Wonder Woman) as they start a Junior Detective Agency to investigate their teachers and find out what&#8217;s going on behind closed doors at Ducard Academy, all before recess.<\/p>\n<p>This all-new story presents a twist on the idea of junior sleuths, using comics, journal entries, and doodles to reimagine Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman as three students in the same school. They&#8217;ll try their best to solve their case, but just because you&#8217;re faster than a speeding bullet or more powerful than a locomotive, it doesn&#8217;t mean you get to stay up past eleven.<\/p>\n<p><strong>{My thoughts} \u2013 <\/strong>  My daughter had bought this book at the school fair, so of course I wanted to read it. She&#8217;d read it first and said that it was really good. I&#8217;d have to concur. It is a nice short read. <\/p>\n<p>I enjoyed seeing Batman, Superman and other characters as middle schoolers. It was entertaining to read and the way that the book was composed was original. I liked how it showed the diary entries, school reports and of course the comics. It was a well thought out presentation for a story. <\/p>\n<p>I am a fan of short little mystery like books and this one didn&#8217;t disappoint me. The added bonus was that it had incredible illustrations to go along with the words on the pages. <\/p>\n<p>I highly recommend this book to anyone that enjoys comics.
