\n{Synopsis} \u2013<\/strong> When kids awake on an island, they\u2019re told there was an accident. Before they can go home, they will visit Foreverland, an alternate reality that will heal their minds.<\/p>\n

Reed dreams of a girl that tells him to resist Foreverland. He doesn\u2019t remember her name, but knows he once loved her. He\u2019ll have to endure great suffering and trust his dream. And trust he\u2019s not insane.<\/p>\n

Danny Boy, the new arrival, meets Reed\u2019s dream girl inside Foreverland. She\u2019s stuck in the fantasy land that no kid can resist. Where every heart\u2019s desire is satisfied. Why should anyone care how Foreverland works?<\/p>\n

{My Thoughts} –<\/strong> This book is based on four main characters. Reed, Danny Boy, Zin and Sid. These four boys are a part of a larger group of boys in which they are taken to an island in the middle of the ocean where they are sort of held against their will. They are treated inhuman in order for the adults of the program to receive any benefits from the program. \u00a0They wake up on the island with no memory of who they are or how they got there. They are left with a tracker in the back of their neck and a hole in the front of their forehead. The hole is said to be used as a means of helping the boys heal. Every two weeks the boys are taken into a building where they willingly partake in a healing program set up by the programs creator. Once the healing process has been completed the boys graduate and are never to be seen again. Therefore it leads to many questions among the four main boys as to what is actually taking place on the island and why they are really there.<\/p>\n

I really enjoyed reading this book. It had me from the first chapter and I wanted to keep reading. I was up incredibly late finishing the book last night when I had only began it yesterday afternoon. I do not regret purchasing this book as it was everything and more that I look for within a book. The characters are strong willed and opinionated, they show that they have choice and freewill. They are also rather ambitious. All and all and excellent read with an ironic twist at the end.<\/p>\n
