{My thoughts} – I enjoyed reading these last few books as much as the previous six. I am sad to say that this does not wrap up the series and that there is still an unpublished book floating in limbo. In my opinion this series could end here and just let the reader’s minds decide on their own what takes place. Seeing as that has been the case simply since Witchlight has been published. I don’t see the point in waiting for the new book to come out since the date keeps changing. I cannot compare Smith to Pike based on the fact that when Pike says a new book will be released it is actually released and when looking at Smith that does not appear to be the case. I am not sure I would recommend reading the series to anyone based on the understanding that it isn’t finished and there is no telling if it will ever be completed. Don’t miss-understand me they are good books, but if you want closure – you’re not going to find it with this series.

Huntress – This book was an okay read. I almost regret picking this series up to read again. But it is pushing the storyline further. Some of the characters are nice and easy going where as others are jerks. But I suppose it is that way with every book. This book shows a lot of family drama – but honestly what family doesn’t have drama?

Black Dawn – This book had entertained me to the sense of I was wanting it to be over just so I didn’t have to pick the book back up again. This book was boring and again very difficult to read – I just couldn’t get into it and forced myself to finish it. I cannot stand when I have to do that because then I don’t really remember much about the book other then I had read it.

Witchlight – This book was nice. It moved the story line forward. I had new information. It had some nice confrontation parts and it wasn’t completely boring. Still I wasn’t completely into it either. I am not sure if I am going to read the conclusion of this series, although I know I will buy it to complete the set, I don’t know if I will read it. I don’t know if that makes sense. Anyways – if you like these books good for you – if not that’s okay to because I am on the group of do not like.

Final Conclusion: 3 Star Rating.
