{Boy Soup: Loris Lesynski}

{Boy Soup: Loris Lesynski}

{Synopsis} – When Giant wakes up with a giant cold, he turns to his home medical guide for help. The prescription? A bowl of Boy Soup. Catching the boys is easy, but what he doesn’t count on is Kate. Accidentally kidnapped along with the boys, clever Kate convinces Giant that what the guide really means is a soup made by boys, not one with boys in it.

{My thoughts} – This book is a cute little book about a Giant that gets sick. He finds this book with medical remedies and he finds one about boy soup being the cure he needs. So he goes about collecting all the ingredients he needs including the boys. However, when he obtains the boys he also gets a girl and the girl conspires against the giant with the boys and they make the page with the recipe go blank and the girl tells the giant she knows how to make the soup but the soup is suppose to be made by boys and not with boys in it. In order to find out what happens next you will need to read the book.

I enjoyed this book because it is some what written in rhyme form. I love poetry and I enjoy reading it in whatever means I can come across it. I also liked how the story went right along with the pictures. It was well written and it flowed really nicely. I think that any young child would enjoy reading or being read this book.

I look forward to reading more books by this author in the future.

Final Conclusion: 5 Star Rating.
