{Killer: Sara Shepard}

{Killer: Sara Shepard}

{Synopsis} – In picture-perfect Rosewood, Pennsylvania, ash-blond highlights gleam in the winter sun and frozen lakes sparkle like Swarovski crystals. But pictures often lie— and so do Rosewood's four prettiest girls.
Hanna, Aria, Spencer, and Emily have been lying ever since they became friends with beautiful Alison DiLaurentis. Ali made them do terrible things—things they had to keep secret for years. And even though Ali was killed at the end of seventh grade, their bad-girl ways didn't die with her.
Hanna's on a mission to corrupt Rosewood's youth, starting with a very attractive sophomore. Aria's snooping into her boyfriend's past. Spencer's stealing— from her family. And pure little Emily's abstaining from abstinence.
The girls should be careful, though. They thought they were safe when Ali's killer was arrested and A's true identity was finally revealed. But now there's a new A in town turning up the heat. And this time Rosewood is going to burn.

{My thoughts} – I really had trouble getting into this book.The writing in this one seemed to be sort of forced. I forced myself to read it and I was surprised when I read the ending. The ending made suffering through the book worthwhile to me. I know that sounds kind of odd, but it’s the way I view it.

It came to light that Ian was framed and he didn’t kill Ali – it also came to light that Spencer was born via a surrogate mother and that she was biologically her mother and father’s daughter — Also she went to meet the surrogate who talked her into living in New York with her and then stole all her money out of her college savings – came to light that she always wanted more money for having the child and that she felt like running away with the baby as well – but that didn’t happen – she did get revenge against the family by taking all the money out of that account though and zeroing out her college savings.

Emily and Issac is another story his mom is sick and twisted – Emily can see it and he cannot or chooses not too eventually he will come around – one can hope anyways. Jason and Wilden become the prime suspects in Ali’s murder when it comes to the investigation by the 4 girls – the reason is all the messages from A and the ledger they find at the opening of the Radley that shows he was signed in and out of the place. However, that isn’t solid proof – but it is proof of some sorts to them anyways…

At the end of the book the barn in Spencer’s backyard catches fire and the 3 girls there barely get out alive – and then the other is coming through the woods and finds a girl trapped – she helps her out of where she is stuck and they all get to safety by the other girls and then they all come to realize that they are staring at Ali – the girl claims that she got a text telling her to go there and then the fire started – similar story to the other girls – and then the police and ambulance all show up and they girl is gone like she was just an illusion.

Final Conclusion: 5 Star Rating.
