{Flight: Alyssa Rose Ivy}

{Synopsis} –Sometimes you just have to take flight.

A summer in New Orleans is exactly what Allie needs before starting college. Accepting her dad’s invitation to work at his hotel offers an escape from her ex-boyfriend and the chance to spend the summer with her best friend. Meeting a guy is the last thing on her mind—until she sees Levi.

Unable to resist the infuriating yet alluring Levi, Allie finds herself at the center of a supernatural society and forced to decide between following the path she has always trusted or saving a city that might just save her.

{My Thoughts} – This book is about a girl named Allison {Allie}, she goes to New Orleans to work for her father at a hotel he recently bought. While working there she becomes friends with Owen, Hailey, Levi and Jarred. She eventually learns that they are not normal by any means of the actual definition. At first she’s scared but then she starts to look at it from the curiosity angle. That’s when things in her life change far more then anyone person can imagine.

I enjoyed how the book had started out relaxed and normal and then it became something more. It slowly stepped into the paranormal. That was something in it’s own. The transition was flawless. I also like how it wasn’t written with all parties involved living the perfect happy ever after.

There wasn’t much I didn’t like about this book. If I am being completely honest there isn’t anything I can bring to mind that I didn’t like. I enjoyed the entire book and I look forward to reading the next one.

Final Conclusion: 5 Star Rating.
