{Synopsis} – In the near future, one corporation, Blackstone Technologies, has changed the world: no disasters, no poverty, and life-altering technology. Blackstone has the impunity to destroy—or create—as it sees fit.

Infinity “Finn” Blackstone is the seventeen-year-old daughter of Blackstone’s reclusive CEO—but she’s never even met him. When disturbing dreams about a past she doesn’t remember begin to torment her, Finn knows there’s only one person who can provide answers: her father.

After Finn and an elite group of peers are invited to Blackstone’s top-secret HQ, Finn realizes she may have a chance to confront her father. But when a highly sophisticated company AI morphs into a killing machine, the trip descends into chaos. Trapped inside shape-shifting walls, Finn and her friends are at the mercy of an all-seeing intelligence that will destroy everything to get to her.

With no hope of help, Finn’s dream-memories may be the only chance of survival. But will she remember in time to save her own life and the lives of those around her?

{My Thoughts} – Infinity {Finn} Blackstone is the daughter of Richard Blackstone. He is the founder of the biggest technologies company in the world called Blackstone Technologies. She is a seventeen year old girl that has only laid eyes on her mother through photos as she was told she died in childbirth. She has only seen her father once and that was the night before her sixth birthday, although she isn’t sure she ever saw him. She was raised by a nanny that resented her and a guy she grew up calling Jonah that use to be in the military.

When she is younger she is home schooled by her nanny. Eventually Jonah takes over the home schooling and teachers her using a curriculum that is more suitable to her learning needs. He teachers her so well that she excels above peers her own age.

As the book progresses she starts to have dreams of herself doing things that she doesn’t recall ever doing. The dreams start to make her question who she is. They start to make her question those around her. They leave her wondering about why she is having them and if they are real or just her imagination.

Sometime after she is thirteen she starts attending boarding school. Shortly after she turns seventeen her class is given the opportunity to have a field trip at none other then Blackstone Technologies. This is when the story really starts to pick up and everything changes for Finn. If you want to know what happens you will need to read the book. I will warn you it ends in a cliffhanger. However, with the second book already released I don’t think that should be such a big deal at this point.

If you enjoyed books like The Hunger Games and Divergent I am certain you will enjoy reading this book. It does have some highly graphically described scenes in it, but they help to bring character to the book. I believe the story is brilliantly written, exceptionally tied together and an incredible page turner.

Final Conclusion: 5 Star Rating.
