{My thoughts} – I’m sure by now most parents have run across this series on Nick Jr. My girls have watched it a few times, however, they prefer books more then television. I feel truly blessed with that aspect.
In this wonderful book it is Peppa Pig’s birthday. She is so excited that she wants to start her birthday early. She thinks that if it’s not started right away that time will be wasted. They start off with a breakfast of her favorite cereal, then she gets to open a present and then they get ready for and partake in her birthday party.
I think this is a nice little book that shows what could potentially happen on a child’s birthday. I like the nice childish illustrations and the words match the pages really nicely. My girls both really enjoyed reading the book the first time, so we had a second and third time as well. It’s always fun when they decide that want you to keep reading a book over and over.
I look forward to reading more books based on Peppa Pig in the future!
