{101 Trucks: And Other Mighty Things That Go: April Jones Prince}

{Synopsis} – Learn about all of the trucks on the road — from carriers, helpers, and builders, to movers, farmers, and rescuers — in this oversized board book with 101 different vehicles for kids to name and count! With bite-size information that’s perfect for this young age, an interactive refrain, and a giant maze-like image at the end of all the trucks sharing the same road, the next book in this young nonfiction series is sure to be a hit!

{My thoughts} – This is a fun little book about the trucks that do so many things on a day to day basis. It has them grouped as Carriers, Helpers, Builders, Movers, Farmers and Rescuers. I have to admit there are a lot that I had no idea what threir grouping was considered. Like a School Bus is grouped as a mover, I wouldn’t have thought that.

The illustrations are kid friendly and most of the text is in a short verse. It is easy to understand and well put together. This has the potential to help any child that loves trucks to learn more about them and their groupings.

I look forward to reading more books by this author in the future.

Final Conclusion: 5 Star Rating.
