{Prince of the Elves: Kazu Kibuishi}

{Synopsis} – THE ENEMY GROWS STRONGER…

Emily survived the chaos of the Guardian Academy, but Max Griffin has stolen the Mother Stone. With it, the Elf King forges new Amulets that will give him the power to invade and destroy the nation of Windsor. Emily and her friends lead the soldiers of the Cielis Guard in a fight to stop him, but Max stands in their way. And when she seeks information from the Voice of her Amulet, she discovers that the Voice is much more sinister than she ever could have imagined.

{My thoughts} – The last book had ended with Emily surviving the tests of the Guardian Academy. It also ended with her learning the truth of what the purpose of those tests were. It was so that Max could get his hands on the Mother Stone and so that he could escape with it.

Emily and her friends are now at battle with Max and those that stand with him.

Emily learns that there is a void that you can enter and it gives you the opportunity to in a sense time travel. However, it isn’t all it cracks up to be. It is assumed that Max did this and it is why he is so young, he is actually more then 50 years older then he currently appears.

Trellis enters the void and Emily has to go and bring him out, once he gets out Emily appears to be left behind. He goes back in to bring her out and together they enter in near Max and watch what transpires between him and the voice that he has been hearing from his stone.

A lot happened in this book and it’s a lot to take in, but it is worth the read. I really enjoyed it and I look forward to reading what is to come next in Emily’s journey as a Stone Keeper.

Final Conclusion: 5 Star Rating.
