Three years later, she remains angry and alienated from her parents, especially her father… until her mother decides it would be in everyone’s best interest if she spent the summer in Wilmington with him. Ronnie’s father, a former concert pianist and teacher, is living a quiet life in the beach town, immersed in creating a work of art that will become the centerpiece of a local church. The tale that unfolds is an unforgettable story about love in its myriad forms – first love, the love between parents and children – that demonstrates, as only a Nicholas Sparks novel can, the many ways that deeply felt relationships can break our hearts… and heal them.

Did You Know?—

The Last Song debuted as #1 on both the USA Today and New York Times bestseller lists?
Miley Cyrus chose the name Ronnie for the main character?

Nicholas wrote the screenplay before he wrote the novel?

The Last Song is the longest novel that Nicholas has written?

The Last Song is both a love story and a coming of age novel?

{My thoughts} – I must confess I had watched the movie before reading the book. The movie was okayish I suppose. But the book I know I probably say this a lot was a thousand times better. The imagery the descriptions and everything – I really enjoyed it, I even enjoyed the parts that had made me cry – yes I am admitting to crying from reading a book that was built so vividly on emotions. It was well written and most certainly a book that I wouldn’t mind reading again sometime. I honestly don’t remember much about the movie other then it has the same story line and plot as the book. The book was sensational because I am able to vividly remember what I had read. It is a book that is about forgiveness, faith in God, faith in others, the ability to trust things with work out, growing up when your not quite ready, excepting responsibility for your actions, understanding that not everything is about you and that in the end its important to have a peace of mind and know that you did the best you could with the life God had given you.

I could probably say this every time I write one of these and strongly believe it to be true the BOOK is ALMOST always BETTER. There I said it.

Final Conclusion: 5 Star Rating.

{Synopsis} – Seventeen year-old Veronica “Ronnie” Miller’s life was turned upside-down when her parents divorced…

[198

post-2771","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-book-review
["GET
