{Synopsis} – Five yummy cupcakes,
Happy as can be!
Together with all their friends,
Hooray! Laughing joyfully!

Learn to count from one to five in this rhyming board book featuring colorful disappearing touch-and-feel cupcakes! It’s an eye-catching extension of Joyce Wan’s adorable cupcake book with delectable spreads of irresistibly chubby, yummy characters, including a cup of cocoa, a rolling donut, and lots and lots of cupcakes. And at the end of the story you can’t help but giggle and laugh with your little one as you practice counting down from five to one and back again.

It’s a scrumptious interactive first counting story to share with the littlest cupcake in your life — from the one and only Joyce Wan!

{My thoughts} – Joyce Wan did not disappoint with this book. It’s about five little cupcakes and written in the same spirit of the five little monkey books.

The words within the pages match the illustrations wonderfully. I also enjoy the way in which the book is put together. It allows for children to explore different textures on each of the cupcakes.

I recommend this book for any baby to toddlers library as this author is fast you becoming one of my favorites.

Final Conclusion: 5 Star Rating.
