{Remember Me: Christopher Pike}

{Remember Me: Christopher Pike}

{Synopsis} – Shari Cooper hadn’t planned on dying, but four floors is a long way to fall. Her friends say she fell but Shari knew she had been murdered. Making a vow to herself to find her killer, Shari spies on her friends, and even enters their dreams. She also comes face-to-face with a nightmare from beyond the grave. The Shadow – a thing more horrible than death itself – is the key to Shari’s death, and the only thing that can stop her murderer from murdering again.

{My thoughts} – This is an incredibly well written series about a girl named Shari Cooper. She ended up dying before she was ready, and these three books take us through her trying to find out just what had happened to her.

Remember Me – I have read many variations of things that include the other side once life occurs. I enjoyed the way in which he described the situation. I however did not enjoy the ending of  this book when it was revealed as to what had actually happened to Shari that night on the balcony. Otherwise –  I would gladly read it again.

Shari seems to be like any other teenage girl. She has her close group of friends that she trusts with her life and then her brother whom she loves and admires. She is a strong character that has goals and in this book her gaol is to find out what happened to her. She does find out what happened, she discovers a lot of things including that her entire life wasn’t meant to be.

The Return – This book I have to admit is a different take on reincarnation in a sense. It is a really nice read. It is all based on Sheri/ Jean coming to realize who she really is along with Peter/ Lenny. They discover that they have a purpose and they push forward to succeed in all that they can given what they have been handed.

The Last Story – This book made me sad. Sheri finally was able to come to terms. To remember who she really was. She got her books published, she became a well known author. But other people on Earth didn’t like her because she was a wanderer and she didn’t really belong. Because of that her life was once again taken from her but this time she was able to leave the world with a feeling of accomplishment. I think she was a very bright character and that she had proven that she had potential beyond her own means. I really enjoyed reading this series and am sad to see it end. But I know that sometime in the future I will probably pick it up and read it again.

Final Conclusion: 4 Star Rating.
