{Synopsis} – In this new five-minute collection, kids will read 12 heartwarming true stories about animals that have been rescued from tough situations. The stories range from handicapped pets given a loving home to exotic wild animals rescued by caring humans with some help from special wildlife sanctuaries. Perfect as an introduction to nonfiction, young readers will learn simple facts about animals and their behaviors. The large font size, big colorful photographs, and fun foil cover are perfect for kids!

{My thoughts} – If you have a child that loves animals, they will probably fall in love with this book. The stories are some of interest and amazement. I always enjoy reading about animals and how their situations are positive as opposed to negative.

This book also allows children to learn some great things about animals. Some great things that they may not have already known. I highly recommend this book for any child that loves animals.
