{My thoughts} – Sandra Magsamen has done it again. I am truly biased to her style of books for young children. My girls and I absolutely love them so much!

In this book we learn about Mommy animals and then we lift the flaps to see the baby animal and what they are named. I can’t stress how important it is for children to know the proper words for things. I love how this books helps them to learn the proper mommy animal and baby animal name.

The cover of this book has a sponge like Easter Basket on it that the children can press down on for a different kind of texture. Inside the book are bright colors, easy to read words and some flaps to life. My daughter was saying “oh and ah” throughout the reading of this book. When we were through she walked over to her big brother to have him read it to her as well. Currently she is sitting on the couch paging through it by herself.

I highly recommend this book and any book by Sandra Magsamen. I promise you won’t be disappointed, they are much loved books in our house.

Final Conclusion: 5 Star Rating.
