Stuffed Peppers
Freezer Meal.

Ingredients
  1. 1 lb ground beef
  2. 1 small yellow onion, peeled and diced {substitute with 1/2 bag frozen chopped onion}
  3. .1 TSP garlic powder
  4. 4 small green bell peppers, {tops cut off and diced, to be added to meat mixture}
  5. 24 oz jar of marinara sauce {reserve 2 TBS}
Materials
  1. 1 gallon-sized plastic freezer bag.
  2. 1 quart-sized plastic freezer bag.
To freeze and cook later
  1. Label your gallon-sized freezer bag.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, onion, garlic powder, and 2 TBS of pasta sauce.
  3. Separate mixture into four equal parts and firmly stuff into peppers.
  4. Add remaining sauce to a quart-sized plastic freezer bag, remove all air, seal and place inside with stuffed peppers.
  5. Remove as much air as possible.
  6. Flatten bag out.
  7. Place in freezer.
To cook
  1. Thaw in refrigerator overnight or in morning in water.
  2. Add peppers to crockpot and cover with sauce.
  3. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
  4. Serve with rice.
Notes
  1. Double recipe to make two freezer meals.
