{Too Many Dinosaurs, Pirates & Monsters: Jenny Copper}

{Synopsis} – There are monsters hiding on every page of this search and find book. Just flip the flaps to find them taking over a city, sailing a pirate ship, running with zombies, roaring with dinosaurs and even visiting an alien planet! The fun rhyming words and the search and find activity encourages word and picture association, which helps young children develop language and early reading skills. Can you find them all?

{My thoughts} – This is a really fun book that I enjoyed being able to share with both of my littles. My two year old enjoyed pointing at the pictures as she was looking for them on the pages. To her, I am sure it seemed quite similar to the concept of search and find type books we have read through in the past.

Each set of pictures has all of the objects within them that you can find. The top half of the pages in other words can be swapped out with the bottom half in a mix and match sense. All of the top half has all of the images from all of the bottom half of each series of pages.

The illustrations are nicely done. They are colorful and they have the potential to keep a child looking at them for hours. My 2 year old paged through the book with my 16 month old for an hour and a half after I’d read through it with the two of them.

The text on the pages is in poetry form. It describes what the child is suppose to be looking for on the bottom half of the pages. It is really nicely written and it all flows together flawlessly with the images.

I look forward to being able to read more books like this with the girls in the future. This one was a lot of fun and they enjoyed it a lot.

Final Conclusion: 5 Star Rating.
