Turkey, Sausage & Veggie Soup
Freezer Meal.

Ingredients
  1. 1 lb Italian ground turkey {substitute with eckrich cheddar smoked sausage - cut up - 39 oz}
  2. 1 Can kidney beans, drained and rinsed {15 oz}
  3. 1 Small yellow onion, diced {1 cup} {substitute with 1/2 bag frozen chopped onion}
  4. 1 lb baby carrots {substitute with 2 bags frozen carrots and peas}
  5. 1 Jar marinara sauce {24 oz}
  6. 4 Cups chicken broth {32 oz}
Materials
  1. 1 Gallon-sized plastic freezer bag.
To freeze and cook later
  1. Label your freezer bag.
  2. Add all ingredients except broth.
  3. Remove as much air as possible, seal and lay flat in your freezer for up to three months.
To cook
  1. Thaw in refrigerator overnight or in morning in water.
  2. Add to crockpot with 4 cups of broth.
  3. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
  4. Break apart turkey and stir.
Optional
  1. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
  2. Serve with garlic bread.
Notes
  1. Double recipe to make two freezer meals.
